Shirin moved from the UK to India in 2001, and is an M Sc, Social Research, with 10 years of experience in the social and education sectors in the UK. She worked with the NGO Citizens Advice Bureaux and was Manager of the Advice and Counselling Services in the largest Government funded Further Education College in London with a student population of 10,000. In Mumbai she worked with Ummeed Child Development Center, where she led the Case Coordination Team for children with special needs and was on the Senior Management Team of Ummeed and also handled HR / Recruitment work. Shireen “formally” established IQ Social in 2012 and provided the impetus for its growth and stability.
