Ashmita is a B A (Hons) in English and M A in Sociology. She is the founder of IQ Group, and has driven the organization for more than 20 years that witnessed its growth, sectoral expansion and establishing itself as an organization of repute. She started her career with marketing and social / development research with TNS Mode, followed by Price Waterhouse Coopers in management consulting. Her tenure in research and consulting honed her analytical and exploratory skills that are all too important for HR, specially, talent search. In 1992, Ashmita took the plunge in entrepreneurship and founded IQ, with the vision of a boutique talent search firm. She has developed and maintained a vast client base among various industries including banking, financial services, advertising and media, FMCG and the social / development sector. She is currently a member of the organizer team for the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival.
